Focus in the Word is a nondenominational Bible study ministry committed to helping men and women know God more deeply — through serious engagement with Scripture, authentic community, and personal life application.

Current Study
Jesus taught in parables — vivid, layered stories that reveal the nature of God's Kingdom and call us to respond. Our first series walks through the most powerful parables He told, exploring what they meant then and what they demand of us today.

Focus in the Word meets Monday evenings at 7:00 PM and Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM in North Raleigh, NC. Whether you've been a believer for decades or you're simply curious about the Bible, there is a place for you here.

Terry Register is the founder and teacher of Focus in the Word, a nondenominational Bible study ministry rooted in the conviction that God's Word has the power to teach, train, and transform every area of life.
Drawing on years of ministry experience and a deep personal commitment to Kingdom principles, Terry leads each gathering with a teacher's heart — making Scripture accessible, practical, and life-changing for every person in the room.
Terry's Kingdom Planners philosophy — anchored in Stewardship, Integrity, and Legacy — threads through every lesson: connecting biblical truth to the way we live, lead, give, and build for the generations ahead of us.
Beyond the ministry, Terry serves as CEO of Tax & Wealth Solutions, bringing the same values of wisdom and stewardship to the financial lives of families and business owners across the North Raleigh area.
